Hi there!
Have you ever heard about someone who knows a lot of vocabulary and grammar structures but fails when pronounces some words? Pronouncing words like: it/eat, chip/sheep/cheap, feet/fit, etc can be quite confusing.
People who have as mother language:French,Italian,Spanish, African,Asian and other languages, are all known by this. Linguistics studies about the languages say that this happens because there are sounds in English that don´t exist in those mother languages so they have to learn them.Others would say that maybe people don´t care so much about learning how to pronounce words correctly.
However, it´s quite important to do so or you may get in trouble someday,somehow.
It all starts with the simple things: simple structures,first verbs,usual tenses but then comes the hardest time, when we already have some knowledge and just want to improve our skills worldwilde.
Now we´re going to have a place here in the blog about pronunciation. You have to access :complementary materials and take a look at: Pronunciation section. Don´t be afraid of speaking. Get some information and practice with other people what you already know and be happy to be understood! Don´t worry, to be fluent takes time and work. SPEAK UP!
