Pronunciation,are you good at it?

Hello students!

Today I´m gonna talk about pronunciation again, as it is something that makes students get a lot worried or curious when trying to speak English in public or in their classes, for example.

Pronunciation seems to be really hard as we have many sounds which we aren´t so familiar with.Tricks and tips It happens to all learners, don´t worry so much about being perfect. The best solution to help you on this theme is to get used to listen to it everyday and try to speak out and loud, as well ;-) Our classes at CLM are also prepared for that, but unfortunately many students don´t feel comfortable about speaking with their colleagues or the teachers. Sometimes we teachers deal with students that are too shy or aren´t even aware about the importance of practicing the target language. What to do then?

To be honest, there´s no way of getting fluent or pronounce a language the best way without listening and speaking that! You should take some hours a week to get involved and really, really practice all abilities as much as you can. Don´t miss any opportunity to communicate with natives or even watch series, movies, viners, youtubers and channels,if it is possible. You´ll see how better your English will be after that.

Besides these tips, I have some information that can really help you.We know youtube is a world, right? There you can find millions of videos that can help you improve your English. Thinking about this, I have a channel I´ve been following for a long time and I´d like to share with you. I can tell you it´s a good one to all English learners. It´s called 'Rachel´s channel'. Rachel teaches about pronunciation in American English.

Rachel’s English provides over 400 free videos, which have gotten over 30 million views, to help non-native speakers improve their spoken English and listening comprehension.  Videos focus on a variety of topics from the correct mouth position of sounds to words that reduce and real English conversation study.

I´ll leave you with some of the most important ones so you can have an idea. At the end, I´ll lead the fans of British English to a very nice channel that deals with the British pronunciation.

At last but not least, you can also know a very nice teacher and youtuber that can help you through a lot of themes, with a Canadian accent. Don´t worry, she´s not drunk. That´s only her humorous way of teaching, right? ;-)

I hope you enjoy those channels and learn a bit more about this beautful language,

Take care!
