Saint Patrick's Day is a cultural and religious celebration that takes place annually on March 17th to commemorate the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. It is a public holiday in Ireland and has become a widely celebrated event in many other parts of the world, particularly in the United States.

The holiday is often associated with the color green, as well as symbols like shamrocks and leprechauns. Many people wear green clothing and accessories, and parades are held in cities around the world.

Traditionally, Saint Patrick's Day is also celebrated with music, dancing, and feasting. Traditional Irish foods like corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, and Irish soda bread are often enjoyed.
