British or American English (Vocabulary)

Hi guys!

Today I´m gonna give you some information about  differences between vocabulary words  in American and British English. Most differences are in pronunciation but  I have to say that spelling and meaning can be very different. As for example, in Portuguese we can say ‘mamão’  in the northeast part  of Brazil and we know that in the southeast and south  people would  say ‘papaya’ for the same fruit. It´s so beautiful and even  obvious we have this wealth in other places and languages and we can enjoy this as part of the culture. Sometimes it gets hard to know if they come from British or American when reading  them in a text. However, the important is to learn so you can improve your knowledge and comprehension skills when listening to both American and British people.
